Prior to joining Dennemeyer & Associates, Sofia Berde worked as a senior researcher in the field of chemical processes in soil genesis and afterward as a patent examiner for the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks in Romania (OSIM). She joined Dennemeyer in 2011, where she plays a key role in managing patent matters in Romania and representing Romanian clients abroad.

Sofia Berde has developed extensive expertise across a wide range of patent matters, including patent drafting and prosecution, prior art searches, patentability assessments, infringement risks and the preparation of responses to office actions and examiner reports. Her strong technical background, combined with decades of hands-on experience, enables her to address complex patent issues with precision and practical insight, supporting clients in both national and international proceedings.
