An Intellectual Property and technology transfer professional with over 12 years experience working in the government, research, consulting, and start-up industry. Ace has worked in various fields of IP spanning prosecution, commercialization, enforcement, and management and has helped multiple inventors, start-up companies, corporations, and academic and government institutions protect, commercialize, enforce, and manage their IP Assets. He has also published diverse research publications on IP and lectured on IP and technology transfer topics both in the Philippines and abroad. In 2015, in acknowledgment of his campaigning and advocating for Intellectual Property in the Philippines, Ace was awarded the “Ulirang Guro (Exemplary Teacher)” recognition by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines.

Ace graduated from the University of the Philippines with a bachelor's degree in organizational Communication and a post-graduate diploma in Public Management. He is also a Master of Science in Innovation and Business degree holder from the Asian Institute of Management, graduating with academic distinction.

Ace is certified by the Global Innovation Management Institute as an Innovation Associate, a certification he received upon winning silver in the 2021 Global Innovation Olympics where he led the AIM team in competition against other top business universities around the world. Apart from IP, he also ventured into the tech start-up scene by co-founding Raketeer, a social start-up that gives job access to Filipino out-of-school youth.

Currently, Ace is the Managing Director and Head of Patent Annuities at Dennemeyer Philippines Inc., the newest office of Dennmeyer IP Group, one of the largest and the only full-service provider for global IP Management today. Before being promoted to Managing Director, Ace served Dennemeyer as a consultant in charge of building and creating Dennemeyer’s office in the Philippines.
