System requirements - for hosted instance
DIAMS iQ / DIAMS U is a three-tier system comprised of an application server, database server and user interface. The application server hosts DIAMS iQ/DIAMS U’s business logic that is implemented as a Windows service using Microsoft’s WebAPI technology. A Microsoft SQL Server instance hosts the DIAMS iQ database and stores the data entered through DIAMS iQ/ DIAMS U’s user interface. This is developed using Microsoft’s Smart Client Technology. The DIAMS iQ /DIAMS U smart client supports Intranet as well as Internet connectivity over HTTP or HTTPS/SSL.
The smart client is simply installed by one-click into the user's profile. Updates are automatically downloaded and installed without any user interaction and do not need administrative permissions. Optionally on request we can provide a traditional MSI package to install the DIAMS iQ / DIAMS U smart client.

- Network bandwidth should be at least 500kbit/s or better depending on usage or other applications creating network traffic.
