Dr. Christopher Brückner joins Dennemeyer & Associates Munich

Dr. Christopher Brückner joins the international IP law firm Dennemeyer & Associates in Munich and brings in his expertise in the areas of chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech matters, as well as European patent and trademark law.

Dr. Christopher Brückner studied pharmacy at the Free University of Berlin and was admitted to the German patent bar in 2005. Before joining Dennemeyer, Dr. Brückner worked within the patent department of an internationally-known German company and two patent law firms. A prominent figure in the IP world, his articles are published in law journals, and he is frequently invited to speak on the topic of SPCs at various events. Dr. Brückner is also a co-author of the Singer / Stauder commentary on the European Patent Convention and plans to publish the next issue of the Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPCs) commentary next summer.

Dr. Brückner is a member of VPP, FICPI, EPI, EPLIT, DPhG (German Pharmaceutical Association) and the Richard-Wagner-Verband (Richard Wagner Association).

The Higher Regional Court of Dusseldorf has selected Dr. Brückner as a court-appointed expert in 2012 and, in 2016, the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition requested that he participates in the preparation of a study commissioned by the EU.
