Active in the field of intellectual property since 1997, he has mainly dealt with trademarks, designs / models and copyright and for fifteen years he has been the Director of the Trademarks of an important IP consultancy firm in Milan.
He has extensive experience across the whole spectrum of trademark/design/copyright consultancy, including formulation of filing strategies, definition of trademark search formats, structuring of prosecution and defense of trademark rights before EUIPO and worldwide trademark offices.
He has personally conducted international negotiations, with direct contact with foreign counterparts, for the definition of agreements relative to trademarks and designs. He has actively participated in the drawing up of recourses to the General Court of the EU and the EU Court of Justice. His practice concerns both multinationals and large Italian and foreign companies, but also small or medium-sized Italian and foreign companies operating in the sectors of Energy, Pharmaceutical, Furniture and design, Mechanical Engineering, Food and beverage.
Since 2003 he has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences on industrial property and has been a lecturer in courses for the preparation to the examination for EU trademark and Design Attorney.
